In partnership with health and well-being company Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM), Mays Business School at Texas A&M University is launching the Humana-Mays Health Care Analytics 2018 Case Competition to showcase students’ analytical abilities to solve a real-world business problem.

Judging Criteria

Round One

Round one deliverables should be a written report that showcases the results of the data analysis. All eligible written entries will be blindly judged by an expert panel from Humana and Texas A&M.

Providing unique insights for business improvements

Quantitative analysis identifying key business insights

Establishing key performance indicators aligned to business needs

Round Two

Round two deliverables will consist of a PowerPoint presentation to visualize and explain their findings. To be eligible for this round, at least 50% of the team must be able to present in person. Presentations will be delivered to a panel of outside industry experts.
